The World Bank supports Vox Naturae in the development of the Ice Circle, providing expert advice in developing the concept and the process for moving it forward. The bank will be approaching sponsors and leading actors to participate in the Ice Circle.

The GWP has been a key partner in raising the profile of Vox Naturae in major international venues on the environment. It provides expert advice on international policy, environmental issues as well as access to important partners around the globe.

Soil Conservation Service of Iceland

The main tasks of the SCS include combating desertification, sand encroachment and other soil erosion, promotion of sustainable land use and reclamation and restoration of degraded land. It is a governmental agency under the Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources.


The SCS has given Vox Naturae access to its networks, policy advice as well as promoting the project internationally and domestically.

Centre for Water Law, Policy and Science,

Under the auspices of UNESCO

A leading interdisciplinary centre for research, teaching and practitioner training in water law, policy and science that works to develop and increase ways to disseminate research results to a wider audience.


Through its Founding Director, Dr. Professor Patricia Wouters, the UNESCO Centre on Water Law Policy and Science has spearheaded the academic initiative the Lights of the Future and will be bringing leading universities to participate in it. It advices Vox Naturae on the legal dimension of international environmental issues and has given access to its high-level networks.

Meet in Reykjavik is the official convention bureau for Reykjavík, founded with the aim to raise awareness of Iceland´s capital city as a convention, meeting and incentive opportunity.

Meet in Reykjavik collaborates with Vox Naturae in developing the Ice Circle initiative and is an important partner in engaging key actors in Iceland.

Icelandic Mountain Guides is a leading Iceland tour operator with over fifteen years of experience servicing clients from all over the world.

Icelandic Mountain Guides ensures that the Vox Naturae team and its partners are able to work on Iceland‘s glaciers safely and enjoyably. They assist with all our work conducted on glaciers including collecting sounds, measurements and advice.

Icelandic Meteorological Office

The Icelandic Meteorological Office is a leading actor in Iceland in the area of research and preservation of data on the physics of air, land and sea, specifically in the fields of hydrology, glaciology, climatology, seismology and volcanology. It is a public institution under the auspices of the Ministry for the Environment and Natural Resources.

The Meteorological office advices Vox Naturae on all matters relating to glaciers in Iceland and other scientific issues that arise in the development of the project.
